Fever, Bodyache, Pain at the angle of the mouth, then swelling of parotids – one after other, stays for 4-5 days, then subside. Rest at home.Oral hygiene – proper brushing of teeth, frequent rinsing of mouth with wokadine solution.Semisolid and liquid food as chewing is painful.Syp. WYMOX 1 tsp TDS for 5 days.Syp. Combiflam 1 tsp TDS If orchitis is seen in older children Give scrotal support Tab. Wysolene 5mg bd for 5 days.
