Circular, hyperpigmented lesions, with tiny vesicular spreading border, commonly in groins.

Use loose cotton underwears. Avoid non absorbent clothes.

Locally apply cloben ointment 3-4 times daily x for 2 weeks after lesions have cleared. Or

Talnafate, Multifungin (any antifungal ointment)

For groins, intertrigo and sweary areas, apply candid powder.

Tab. Grisovin 250mg tds x 21 days

Tab. Flucos 150mg once/ week x 4 weeks.

Take full course, even if lesions subside within a week.

Boil all underclothes at the end or treatment.

For resistant cases:

Tab. Flucos 150mg 1 tab once a week x 6 months for finger and 12 months for Toe.

Tab. DASKIL 250mg OD x 6 weeks for finger 12weeks for Toe.

Cut the nail as high as possible. Apply Candid lotion – one drop to nail bed 2 times/ day.

If nail is badly deformed, remove nail surgically, then treat nail bed with candid lotion daily.

Intertrigo:

White lesion between the Toes, due to Moniliasis.

Keep the feet dry. Stop working in water.

Check blood sugar. Control diabetes if present.

Dry the toes and apply cabndid powder-3times/day.

Tab. Flucos 150mg 1 tav once a week x 4 weeks.

If no response, Tab. DASKIL 250mg OD x 4 weeks.
