| Adult:
As sodium: 2-4 g daily in 2 divided doses, increased to 12 g daily in 2-4 divided doses for severe infections given as deep IM or IV infusion. |

History of penicillin allergy; renal or hepatic impairment; pregnancy, lactation; cystic fibrosis. |
