ALLERGIC CONDITIONS INCLUDING URTICARIA, ANGIOEDEMA, RHINITIS, CONJUNCTIVITIS AND PRURITUS |

As maleate: 1-2 mg tid |

Precautions |
Elderly, closed-angle glaucoma, BPH, driving, epilepsy, GIT obstruction. Pregnancy and lactation. |

Adverse Drug Reactions |
CNS depression, paradoxical CNS excitation, dryness of mouth, thickened resp mucus, urinary retention, constipation, tachycardia and arrhythmias, blurring of vision, GI upsets, blood dyscrasias. Topical application: Sensitisation. |

Interactions |
Potentiate CNS depressant actions of alcohol, barbiturates, sedatives, opiod analgesics and neuroleptics. Additive antimuscarinic action with MAOIs, atropine and tricyclic antidepressants. |
