Precautions |
Myasthaenia graivs; muscle rigidity may worsen resp depression. Head injury; renal or hepatic impairment; elderly, debilitated patients, neonates. Use with caution in patients with hypothyroidism, prostatic hyperplasia, inflammatory bowel disorders. |

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Nausea, vomiting; bradycardia, transient hypotension, peripheral vasodilation; drowsiness, sedation; increased intracranial pressure. Transdermal: Rash, erythema and itching. |

Respiratory depression, trunk rigidity, laryngospasm, bronchoconstriction. |

Interactions |
Depressant effects may be enhanced by other CNS depressants such as alcohol, anaesthetics, anxiolytics, hypnotics, tricyclic antidepressants, and antipsychotics. |
