TREATMENT OF GI SYMPTOMS CAUSED BY REDUCED GI MOTILITY (GASTRIC FULLNESS, EPIGASTRIC PAIN, ANOREXIA, HEARTBURN, REGURGITATION, BLOATING, NAUSEA AND VOMITING) |
Adult:
150 mg /day in 3 divided doses. Reduce dose depending on the patient’s age and symptoms. |

Should be taken on an empty stomach (i.e. At least one hour before food or four hours after food). (Take before meals.) |

Rash, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal pain, headache, sleeping disorders, dizziness, galactorrhea, gynecomastia. |

Anticholinergic agents reduce the action of itopride. |
