TREATMENT OF ACUTE AND DELAYED NAUSEA AND VOMITING IN PATIENTS RECEIVING EMETOGENIC CHEMOTHERAPY
Adult:
As a single dose: 250 mcg. To be given over 30 seconds and 30 min before chemotherapy. Do not repeat within 7 days.
Precautions
Caution when used in patients with intestinal obstruction or ileus. Rapid inj may lead to temporary visual changes such as blurred vision. Caution when used in patients who have or may develop prolonged QT intervals. Safety and efficacy not established in children <18 yr. Counsel patients that skilled tasks such as driving may be impaired.
