Nausea, vomitting, diarrhoea, hypersensitivity skin reaction, hypothyroidism, crystalluria, renal impairment , blood dyscrasias, kernicterus in premature neonates. |

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Stevens-Johnson syndrome, agranulocytosis and aplastic anaemia. |

Interactions |
Concurrent use may increase phenytoin and methotrexate levels; increased risk of bleeding with warfarin and acenocoumarol; may potentiates antidiabetic effect of sulfonylureas. |
