Indication & Dosage
 
 
Oral
VISCERAL SPASM
Adult: 10-20 mg tid.
 
Parenteral
VISCERAL SPASM
Adult: 8-16 mg daily, via IM or IV inj
 
Oral
POSTOPERATIVE PAIN
Adult: Each tablet contains 10 mg valethamate bromide and 325 mg paracetamol. 1 tablet tid.
   
Precautions Children, elderly, CVS disease, thyrotoxicosis, hypertension, pregnancy.
   
Potentially Life-threatening 
Adverse Drug Reactions
Dry mouth, blurring of vision, difficulty in swallowing and talking, constipation, urinary retention, glaucoma.
   
Adverse Drug Reactions Rare, arrhythmias.
   
Interactions Potentiated by other antispasmodics, some antihistamines, phenothiazine, disopyramide and quinidine. Delayed gastric emptying reduces absorption of other drugs.
